Wallpaper is trending?!

When speaking with Amy McAtee, she was happy to tell us that wallpaper was making a comeback. Huh? Really?

We aren’t biased, but we think it should be ripped off of every wall. Ok, bias aside, wallpaper can add an awesome look to any room in the house. Applying wallpaper can be a pain, but so can painting. Not to mention that paint can get a lot messier than wallpaper.

Paint can transform a guest room into a nursery. A couple gallons later and its the color of your kid’s favorite team. Or a gym, an office, the list goes on. Try doing that, wallpaper.

… Guess it can do that too. We’re not doing a good job at dissuading you from the stuff. The heart wants what the heart wants, who are we to say otherwise? But paint’s always been the apple of our eye.

It’s been awhile since we have applied wallpaper, over 35 years to be exact, but we have spent all of those years removing the stuff. Even so, we never know how easy or hard it’s going to be. Reactions may vary, but we usually get smiles once the paper is in the black trash bags. We too breathe a sigh of relief once it’s over. It’s always messy and unusually tough!
