New Color Trends

As the years roll on, color trends and schemes change like the seasons. Ceilings still remain white for the most part. Now we are also seeing different shades of white go on the walls throughout homes with a brighter white for doors, frames and baseboard. White has no replaced gray with popularity and in a big way. Popular colors from Sherwin Williams for the walls are Shoji White, Origami White and Greek Villa, just to name a few.

For the exterior, people are switching to white for the main body of the house (stucco, siding, etc.). The trim is being painted in a dark color, sometimes black. Some popular whites for the body are Snowbound, Alabaster and Pure White which are all Sherwin Williams colors. There’s a couple of dark colors we use more often than not, also SW colors, like Black Fox, Urbane Bronze and Iron Ore.
